Dear Dancers, Coaches, Judges, and Supporters,
On behalf of Provo High School and the PHS Ballroom Dance Program, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2025 Provo High School Dancesport Festival, held on Janurary 24th and 25th.
This year, we are thrilled to embrace our theme, "Life is a Highway", as we celebrate the exhilarating journey of dance, filled with twists, turns, and unforgettable moments!
Like the open road, the path of a dancer is marked by dedication, hard work, and a loe for the journey. Every practice, performance, and competition is a mile traveled toward growth, artistry, and acheivement.
Whether you're a seasoned competitor or stepping into onto the floor for the first time, this festival is a celebration of your unique journey.
Throughout these two days, we invite you to dance with passion, resilience, and joy. Embrace the detours as opportunities to learn, and cherish the victories--both big and small. Let the music be your guide, and remember that it's not just about the desitnation,
but the incredible ride along the way.
To our judges, thank you for sharing your expertise and helping shape the next generation of dancers. To our coaches, families, and supporters, your engcouragement fuels the dreams of every dancer on this journey.
And to our competitors, thank you for your courage, grace, and dedication--you inspire us all!
As you take the floor, know that every step is a part of your adventure. Together, let's make this festival a celbration of joy, perservereance, and the beauty of the journey. Thank you for being part of the 2025 Provo High School Dancesport Festival!

PS: For the Utah Ballroom Education Association events (i.e. the State Title categories) there is a Coach’s Checklist that is required to be filled out
and submitted prior to the event. Please see the UBEA website for more information. If the UBEA guidelines are not adhered to, the program will
NOT be eligible to compete for the State Title.
The only team events that will be held this year are:
- Latin Show Dance
- Ballroom Show Dance
- Swing Show Dance
- Cabaret Show Dance
- Latin and Ballroom Medleys
