21 years and stronger than ever! This year's Festival perfectly fits the theme:
“Superheroes”!
We are excited to return to our traditional 2-day event. We will host open and syllabus events at elementary, junior, youth, and adult levels,
and on Saturday we welcome teams to bring show dances and formation medleys. All team events will be held on Saturday as the final events of the evening.
For the Utah Ballroom Education Association events (i.e. the State Title categories) there is a Coach’s Checklist that is required to be filled out
and submitted prior to the event. Please see the UBEA website for more information. If the UBEA guidelines are not adhered to, the program will
NOT be eligible to compete for the State Title.
The only team events that will be held this year are:
- Latin Show Dance
- Ballroom Show Dance
- Swing Show Dance
- Cabaret Show Dance
- Latin and Ballroom Medleys
The usual individual events will run as normal. We have included a cabaret division (by invitation only) as well as Adult 5-dance Rhythm, Adult Pre-champ Rhythm,
and Youth 5-dance Rhythm. Because there are so many competitors, we still have the limit of TWO entries per category.
Once again we plan on starting approximately 10AM on Friday, January 26th and again at 7AM on Saturday, January 27th. We look forward to seeing you for
another great year and to celebrate an amazing TWENTY-ONE YEARS of fantastic fun and dancing!
